Finebush Forum has migrated its discussion forum from the one Charles wrote to an open source version (YaBB) that offers more functionality and is easier to use and administer. Charles is transferring some posts from the old forum to the new one - and putting other posts in the Finebush FAQ page. What is my logon ID in the new forum?As a guest (without logging on) you can browse the forum and even make posts. If you recognise a post that you made in the old version of the forum, you will see the name that Charles used to register you. Charles will use your first name if nobody else has the same first name. Otherwise, your first name followed by the Capital initial of your surname. If you used a different nickname when you made your post on the old forum, Charles will have tried to use that. What password have I got in the new forum?When Charles registered you, he let the forum choose a random password for you. Click on the link for "Forgot Password?" next to the password text-entry box to have it emailed to you. Note: The email will be sent to the email address that you originally gave when you posted to the old forum. If you have changed your email address since then, the easiest would be to register again (you will need to use a different login name because the system won't allow duplicates). You can also email Charles (charles at finebushpeople dot co dot za) to have him change your email address and send you the password (that way you get to keep your login ID).
